Some backyards just need a clean reset. That's exactly what we had here - a large, fenced yard with patchy grass, bare spots, and no real definition along the perimeter. Nice bones, but nothing that made you want to spend time out there.

We started by picking up fresh sod rolls directly from the farm - you can see the pallets stacked and ready to go. Quality matters at that stage. Fresh sod that goes down the same day it's cut roots in faster and gives you a much better result than sod that's been sitting around. That's a detail we don't skip.

From there, our crew got to work laying each roll tight and level across the full yard. While the sod went down, new plantings - arborvitae, small ornamentals, and ground cover - were worked in along the fence line to create a clean, finished border. The river rock edging pulls it all together and keeps the beds from looking muddy or overgrown down the road.

The finished yard is a completely different space. Deep green sod wall to wall, tidy planting beds hugging the fence line, and enough open lawn to actually use. Whether you've got kids, dogs, or you just want somewhere to sit outside and enjoy the summer - that's the kind of yard that makes it easy.

This is the kind of work we do regularly. A full sod install paired with fresh plantings and proper land grading underneath makes all the difference in how the lawn holds up long-term. No low spots, no runoff issues - just a yard that looks good and stays that way.
